These oddly shaped stones are actually ancient -- 17,000 yrs old -- yet they were constructed to assemble a modular building. The blocks fit with eachother like a puzzle and can be re-used to make new shapes or architecture. See Viewzone's story on Tiauanaco for a more detailed explanation.
