Playing Instructions: As you click on a square, you will not only light it up but you will also light up the squares that are adjacent to it. If any of these adjacent squares were already lit up, they will be switched off. The object of the game is to try to get every square lit up at once. It can be done.
So far, in the past three years, only a few people have succeeded in turning all of the lighted squares on. More have succeeded in turning them all off... but that's not really the game. There have been two unique strategies used (but we'll never tell!).
To add your name to the AllLghtsOn Hall of Fame, give a brief description of how you did it and what happened when won..that's important -sounds? -images? Tell us... we'll know if you really got it right!
The Ultimate Challenge!
Okay - here's the scoop. MysticRPG sent in a total of 19 moves that successfully turned all the lights on. He numbered the top left 5 and descending rows ..4,3,2,1. Then, starting still at the top left, he names the columns A,B,C,D,E. His first two moves are A5 and B4. Can anyone come up with less than 19 moves? We'll create a special award for that!
